After decades as the cherished Lu and Al's Cafe in Shenandoah, Iowa, the iconic eatery at 615 W Sheridan is entering a new era as Cornbread Shed, LLC.

Chris and Kristyn Bryant of Tabor, Iowa, are the proud new owners, taking over from LuAnn and Alan Armstrong, who have built and maintained the cafe's legacy.

While Al Armstrong continues to run the catering business and contribute as a cook, the Bryants plan to infuse the cafe with a Southern flair, blending new and classic menu items.
